Jaelynn was born a prodigy with a genius mind to Central City's richest couple, however her parents forced her into being the 'perfect' daughter by enrolling her in private schools, ballet, martial arts and pageants. Her true passions were always shot down by what her parents wanted her to be. Despite seeming like the nicest and most harmless in classes, Jaelynn often got into arguments and physical fights with her rivals and got away with her behaviour due to being her classes' 'princess' and top student.
Once Jaelynn had finished high school, she immediately went onto college and moved away from Central City to live with her aunt in Denver, she never stayed on campus, Jae rather stayed at her aunt's house which was basically given to her since her aunt was NEVER home. Visiting home on vacation, Jaelynn was struck by the Speed Force storm that changed plenty of civilians in Central City, instead of staying long enough to be taught by the Flash, she fled back home to Denver where she was eventually found and mentored by Velocity. Evan had pulled her into the superhero life and Celerity was chosen as her alias. Jaelynn was a part of Denver's Defenders led by Velocity before its disbandment, of course she enjoyed the challenges that all came her way that only made her grew faster and stronger.. Eventually her spirits were broken upon meeting her demise by Thawne's bare hands even though she refused to go down without a fight. Her return from the dead was a strange anomaly made by the Speed Force, she had returned through a passage by the Negative Speed Force which ended up intertwining with her own powers. Jaelynn was mentally manipulated by both Thawne and Zolomon until she had lost all grasp of her own sanity, eventually being free from them both, Jae went astray and did things her own corrupted way. Enough time had passed when she finally had reopened her eyes and got a grip of herself and took some time away to reevaluate herself as well as growing faster and stronger during her time away.
In a recent turn of events, Jaelynn was physically and mentally tortured by Eobard Thawne who eventually broke her by murdering her parents.

The name Celerity was chosen because she overheard her ballet teacher admiring her skills saying 'she moves with such grace and celerity'.
Her Speed Force lightning was originally yellow, but thanks to the interference of the Negative Speed Force is changed to magenta.
Jaelynn does not have a problem killing, however, she only results to it if she deems it necessary.
Her mother was the owner of a famous, luxurious fashion house and her father was a businessman who own multibillionaire industries.
Jaelynn's strong suits are bioengineering and forensic sciences.
